About Polish National Football Information Point

National Football Information Point has been created on 16th of February 2005 as part of General Headquarters of Polish Police structure.


Creation of point is also in accordance with suggestions of The Council of The European Union Resolution from 25th of April 2002, which strongly recommends establishment of National Football Information Points in  EU Countries. According to Resolution those institutions aim is to allow proper exchange of information concerning international football matches in order to combat and prevent football related violence.

The main task of Polish Football Information Point is realization of Chapter 3a regulations of Mass Gathering Security Act from 22nd of August 1997, concerning gathering and processing information connected with security of mass sport events.

Those tasks performed by National Football Information Point include:

1)     gathering and processing information concerning security of mass sport events

2)     conducting base of information concerning security of mass sport events

3)     drawing up analysis of information concerning security of mass sport events

4)     ensuring safety of processed information concerning security of mass sport events - with accordance to regulations of Personal Data Protection Act from 29th of August 1997

5)     cooperation with foreign subjects in range specified in points 1-3
